PRAYER-ACTIVISTS
CELEBRATE THE END OF THE CMRR

Trinity Nuclear Abolition (TNA) organizes monthly peace vigils at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) and elsewhere. March 26th will be the 57th picketing event for TNA at LANL. The purpose of the March vigils are to celebrate the ending of funding for the CMRR scandal (LANL's plans for a $6 billion plutonium monument during the Great Recession of America) and also a call for a true commitment to peace in this region. The prayer-activists will sing out for a true commitment to peace in this region. TNA will be at LANL's main entrance sign at the corner of Diamond and West Jemez on Monday March 26th from 7:00 am to 8:00am, and will be distributing the leaflet explaining the obligations of civilians in Los Alamos to work against LANL's criminal activity.

The 26th of March is the anniversary of two nuclear bomb explosions conducted by LANL: Romeo and Junction of 1954 and 1992 respectively. This date is also the anniversary of the first shipment from LANL to the Waste Isolation Pilot Project site at Carlsbad, NM. These are the reasons TNA will hold its monthly UnOccupy Los Alamos event. In January, some of the prayer-activists (the LANL Fathers Day 5) had already been convicted of trespassing at LANL, then served 90 days probation, and donated the "mandatory court fee" to a local Tewa environmental justice program. In November and December 2011 TNA proved that the local police and court system are actively breaking international treaties by supporting alleged property rights of LANL.
